Why Your Best Idea Never Makes It Into the Room

Map runs in silent, individual writing mode before anyone speaks. That’s brainwriting, and it exists specifically to prevent the blocking effect described above. Evaluate uses anonymous voting against a named criterion, because the alternative — open discussion — lets the loudest or most senior voice decide the outcome before the vote does.
